• William Shakespeare's Birthday celebrations take place annually in April. Shakespeare Morris also usually mark this occasion.
• Upton upon Severn Folk Festival usually takes place on the early May Bank Holiday weekend.
• Wheaton Aston Folk Festival usually takes place in mid May.

• Trad Arts Team Event TRADITIONAL SONG SESSION: third Thursday of every month, Station Pub, Kings Heath, from 8pm All welcome. Contact 0121 244 3513.
• Trad Arts Team Event MOSELEY VILLAGE BAND: second and fourth Thursdays at St Columba’s, Alcester Road, Bham, 7:30 - 9:15pm. All musicians welcome. Contact 0121 449 3189.
• Trad Arts Team Event STORYTELLING CAFE: Bringing storytelling back to adult audiences. National tour with Clare Murphy and Diarmuid O'Drisceoil visiting six West Midland venues.
